finally my cough getting better.. at least i can sleep last night and hopefully i can also sleep tonight.. i rebond my hair le!! haha.. i cut my hair also.. quite short now.. shorter than last time i rebond.. haha.. definitely feel lighter.. haha.. i like this lady who helped me rebond.. gentle.. not like that guy last time.. he is like pulling my hair out.. maybe next time i will go back to this salon again.. sch starting soon.. next week.. i am still in holiday mood.. this sem i predict to be a quite siong sem.. although will be taking a total of 20 AUs, but the subjects doesnt look easy.. actually none of the subjects so far look easy to me.. haha.. so i am talking rubbish.. i am also clearing my last elective.. and i will definitely su it.. haha.. see how lah.. a bit regret didnt su astro during special sem.. but it's all over.. need to look forward.. yup.. work hard for the coming sem.. will be seeing more friends in ntu le.. haha.. but all like different course from me.. haha.. but it still good to see familiar faces in school.. haha.. |

i am still thinking whether to write about the mse foc.. on the whole, the camp is quite fun.. but due to some disappointing incident, my mood is down for a few days.. the fun times are during the war games.. did enjoy that.. but happy times ended there.. bad things happened during that night.. there is fright night that night.. i got pushed by a 'ghost'.. in the end, got bruise and blue-black on both knees.. got scared and injured at the same night.. hai.. blame it on my poor luck.. this isnt the worst thing.. the worst thing happened the next night.. we had amazing race in the day and went to the chalet in the night.. after the freshies had their rehearsal for the skit, they went to wash up and stuff.. then it is the 'talk-cock' session.. it is asking the freshies who they admire in the camp and those 'wu liao' stuff but it is interesting sometimes.. haha.. so i wanted to join in.. for the girls only lah.. so i went in with one of the gl.. but when i entered, she turned back and told i am not allowed inside.. ok fine.. i came out but i dont understand why sa is not allowed inside.. those guys sa also joined in the guys 'talk-cock' session.. why cant i join in? i am so sad that night and the next night.. i dun understand the whole thing.. this affected my mood for the next day.. it got worse at night.. i called my friend to 'shu ku'.. have to thank her for cheering me up and helping me to scold those people.. have to thank my another friend for tolerating my mood during those bad mood days.. becuz of this incident, this is the first time i cried so much in my uni life.. even last time i got the bad result i didnt cry just bad mood only.. i really cried this time round.. i cant control the tears falling down.. you may think i am stupid.. why i cry over such small things? yeah, why i cry? why should i cry? i didnt do anything wrong.. hai.. well, it's over.. i wont think abt this thing anymore.. yeah, maybe when i see them in sch, i will still rmb but it wont affect me so much le.. maybe when i am day-dreaming, i will still think about this but i am sure it wont affect me so much le.. yup, i will not let this affect me again.. hai.. i shld go slp now le.. night.. |

Bangkok trip Part 4 - Day 4 (08-07-2008) now coming to the last day.. another sight-seeing with shopping day.. we woke up early.. we are prepared to go but.. our tour guide and the driver is late for 1 hour.. the reason is becuz the time given to them is wrong.. omg.. wasted 1 hr of my sleep.. can eat slower also.. irritating.. but the trip is really cool.. haven say where we went right? haha.. we went to the Grand Palace.. it is really a very grand place.. i am amazed by their culture and structure.. it is so magnificent.. you will know when i upload the photos.. the weather is very warm also.. my mum got sun-burnt.. haha.. she told me when we were back in spore.. so jialat.. she is the only one in the family that got sun-burnt.. haha.. so lousy.. must have forgotten to put sun-block.. after the trip to the Grand Palace, we booked the mini-bus.. the one that brought us to the Grand Palace and city tour around.. oh ya, about the city tour.. we went to see the authentic gem shop.. there sell authentic gem like sapphire and ruby.. all the gems are really very nice but the pricings are even nicer.. haha.. if i buy one gem from there, i can go back to the hotel already.. haha.. cuz no money to buy other things.. haha.. and then we went to a silk shop where there is this super irritating shop assistant kept asking me and my sis to buy things.. we complained to the tour guide about it and she said she going to complain about that assistant to that shop's manager.. should loh.. that guy is super irritating.. his boss should fire him.. where got assistant kept following the customers and kept asking them to buy things de.. as in we walked to the scarf section, he asked us to buy scarf.. we walked to the bag section, he asked us to buy bag.. this kind of follow leh.. i am quite irritated by it lah.. super irritating.. hope the next time i go there i wun see him around.. haha.. quite evil but it's true.. dont want to see him again.. so we took the mini-bus back to the hotel and then have our lunch before we proceed to Siam Centre for the last round of shopping.. actually the main purpose of going there is to get the harry potter book set.. we asked the previous day at the book shop at MBK and they said that Siam Centre has the set.. that's why we chose Siam Centre as our destination for our last round of shopping.. but when we went to the book store, the person checked and said there is only one set in thai but not in english.. damn angry lah.. dont know how they communicate with each other de.. there said here got.. but here said dont have.. me and my sis were feeling so irritated by it lah.. hai.. i am feeling happy the previous night thinking that i am going to have the harry potter set le.. hai.. end up like that.. so we continued to shop and halfway we went to Starbucks for a drink.. i got hot chocolate.. very nice big cup.. haha.. heard from my sis that it is cheaper there.. haha.. i dont know lah.. i never drink at Starbucks de.. my mum bought a lot of bras loh.. hai.. i didnt buy anything.. hai.. very irritating to change all my money back to SGD.. so we went to meet the driver and he brought us to the airport.. a small incident.. we thought we lose our voucher for the airticket.. you know the one we need to print out.. we got alr.. my dad searched all the luggage and according to my mum the driver isnt too happy about it cuz maybe he thought we didnt trust him or something.. but i dont know also lah.. didnt take note.. we almost missed our plane.. we have already checked-in.. but we went to walk around, shop and took some photos that we lost track of the time.. so in the end, we ran in.. my mum's face is super black loh.. haha.. but now to think about it again, it is also another kind of experience.. haha.. cuz it is already final call le.. then when we went in, all has settled down already.. haha.. so funny.. so it concluded my trip to Bangkok.. maybe will go to other places before going back there.. i will buy more things next time.. i hope my next trip is to Taiwan.. i want to shop shop and shop.. haha.. upload the photos soon.. night.. |

Bangkok trip Part 3 - Day 2 (06-07-2008) & 3 (07-07-2008) back from mse camp!! haha.. continue my bangkok trip.. for the second day, we woke up early for the buffet breakfast and went to the Chatuchak Weekend Market.. we walked to the subway station and took it to Mo Chit Station.. the birdview of the whole market is amazing.. it is like 5 times the size of a basketball court.. the stalls are all near each other.. it is like our 'pasam malam'.. just that this is really big.. super big.. the temperature is quite high too.. i think we reached there at around 10 plus.. the temperature is rising at that time already.. omg.. i am like having suana there.. bought sourvenirs, bags.. for me only lah.. my parents and my sis bought more things.. like clothes, shorts and blah blah blah.. i am feeling too warm to continue any shopping.. we shopped until 3pm.. and we didnt have our lunch.. omg.. this is the first time i didnt have my lunch on-time.. haha.. we took taxi back and we rested, washed up and went to MBK to continue shopping and have our dinner.. i didnt bought much there also.. cuz my dad back pain le so we went back early.. moving on to day 3.. at first, we had planned to go to the floating market in the morning.. but becuz my dad isnt feeling well so we had to cancel the trip and forgo the payment money.. haiz.. but we went to MBK to have another round of shopping.. hmm.. bought some clothes for myself.. but not alot also.. after all the shopping i only got 3 clothes back.. haiz.. sian.. cuz most of the clothes there i dont like.. so ya, didnt buy much.. anyway, after that we went back to hotel to rest for a while before we went to Siam Niramit.. it is a cultural show.. it is really amazing.. the sound, visual effects.. it is 4D!! the rain, lightning effects is so real.. really feel like raining.. haha.. really world class standard.. recommend all to go there, a must-go place in bangkok.. this post is considered short compared to the previous two posts.. cuz these 2 days consists of the shopping and the cultural show.. the shopping at the Chatuchak Weekend market is really an experience.. shopping under such temperature.. it is much much warmer than spore.. almost dehydrated.. need to drink lots of water when you are there.. and heed my advice, dont stop at every shop.. look for what you need.. if not, hahahaha, you will lose your way and die there.. haha.. of cuz not so serious lah.. but really that place is so big that it isnt a surprise if you are lost.. haha.. lucky my dad is good at map.. we didnt get lost.. so how come i say it is easy to get lost? first, the place is very big.. believe me, there is no place in spore that is bigger than this market.. second, the shops look alike to each other.. you will get the feeling 'eh, i walked here already leh..' haha.. i walked until i blur le lor.. every thing looks the same to me.. really good to have a dad who knows how to read a map.. if i go there myself sure trap there de.. haha.. as for the cultural show, i really recommend anyone going there to watch.. it is worth the money.. i forgot one thing.. you can to tour around a thai village before the show starts.. will upload the photo when i got it from my sis.. never give me a copy when she upload to her com.. irritating.. i have to wait until i blog finish the whole trip and MAYBE by then i will get the photos.. haiz.. wols.. |

Bangkok trip Part 2 - Day 1 (05-07-2008) now moving on to day 1 of the trip.. actually there's nothing much on the first day cuz we reached bangkok airport at around 830pm.. then need to do the immigration thing.. so check-out at around 9pm ba.. i think lah, cant remember much also.. haha.. once we were out, omg.. there's alot of people behind the barriers waiting for people coming out.. and i feel like i'm vip.. haha.. like they are welcoming us like that.. haha.. hou lian pi.. haha.. we also booked our Grand Palace tour at the airport.. and we went around asking for directions.. like where to take taxi lah, where is the toilet lah and blah blah blah.. we also went to ask the number for the tourist police.. they had actually a small 'police station' there at the airport.. can see those off-duty police watching tv.. haha.. the number for the tourist police is 1155.. i think no need to press country code or area code.. just call the 4 numbers can le.. anyway, the roads there are better than i have thought.. the highways are so cool.. haha.. you can drive at 100km/hr and you will feel so shiok.. there's alot of advertisements banners along the highway.. every few hundreds km i can see one big one.. the banners are so big and in singapore it is banned.. i think lah, my sis told me de.. and there's no exit to the highway to escape paying the tolls (like our ERP).. you must pay the toll no matter where you go as long as you used the highway.. only after the toll station, then i saw some exit.. wah.. really earning by this way.. if i am not wrong, we paid around 300-400 baht from the airport to our hotel.. quite cheap if you want to change it to SGD.. and the whole journey is so shiok.. maybe becuz it's late already so not many cars and so the driver drove quite fast.. the driver is quite friendly too but just that he don't know much english.. we need to use really simple words to communicate with him.. well, as long as we can understand each other then it is alright.. haha.. their overhead bridge is quite nice too.. they design in such a thai way.. haha.. of cuz.. hmm.. we didnt manage to take a photo of it cuz the taxi driver drove so fast plus it is at night.. but if have a chance to go there, you will know what i mean.. it is like hmm.. a small temple? i don't know how to describe also.. but it is very unique.. not like the bridge we have here.. one look and you know you are in bangkok.. haha.. so after the long journey from the airport.. we finally reached our Twin Towers hotel.. it is quite isolated from the shopping centres.. the surrounding of this hotel is like those shophouses.. very quiet at night.. when we entered the hotel, omg.. it is so grand, so nice.. the staff is nice.. as i have wrote about in the previous post, the room is fantastic.. queen size bed, bathtub and many more.. plus got disney channel.. what else can i ask for? there's bathrobe for us too.. omg.. ok.. i am quite sua ku.. but hey, this is my first time staying in a hotel hor.. of cuz i am excited at everything i saw.. haha.. after settling down, we went down to have some food.. it is a BUFFET at 7-10 SGD!! we were like hungry ghosts.. haha.. we took quite alot i think.. haha.. quite nice also.. drink, food and soup all in that one price.. so cool.. so yup.. the first night there is already so interesting.. haha.. i am really looking forward to the next few days in bangkok.. it will so full of excitment.. as i have said, i watched disney channel till i went to sleep.. haha.. i am still a kid.. haha.. |

Bangkok trip Part 1 - Review yoz.. finally back from Bangkok.. had a super fun time there.. although my mum's nagging is brought from Singapore to Bangkok.. haha.. i stayed in this hotel called Twin Towers Hotel.. quite a nice hotel.. we have booked superior room but they upgraded to executive room FOC!!! haha.. shiok man.. got bathtub leh.. i think superior room dont have.. haha.. miss the bathtub.. and one thing is there got DISNEY CHANNEL!! this is another thing that i will miss very much.. the cartoon and shows in this channel is so cute.. so to my taste.. haha.. like micky & minnie mouse, hannah montanna, tarzan movie and more.. my bedtime show is always very interesting.. haha.. i remembered i watch one caartoon movie called Robinsons and The Family.. cool.. talking about future stuff.. all the high-techs stuff.. haha.. so cool.. there's other channels also lah.. like BBC, CNN, CCTV and alot of i think boring channels.. haha.. besides the tv stuff, the service, facilities and the food here is quite good too.. the staff there are very friendly and helpful.. we have planned to go floating market on the third day but my dad aren't feeling well so we need to cancel this trip.. but we don't have the number to that tour company, so the hotel staff helped ask to search and communicate with the people from the tour company.. we got some problems too.. for e.g., the safety box in my dad's room is spoilt.. cant open.. the door in his room that is connecting to our room also spoilt.. yes.. we got the interconnecting rooms.. haha.. cool isn't? haha.. good for morning call for my mum everyday.. the bed.. woo.. so nice.. for my room is 2 queen size bed.. so shiok.. for my dad's is one king size bed.. haha.. so you can imagine how much comfort i am in these few days.. haha.. bathtub, bedtime show and a queen size bed!! haha.. oh ya.. before i forgot.. we got this nice tour guide for our Grand Palace tour.. she helped us delayed the check-out time.. but i think she is trying to compensate us also.. cuz we booked this tour at the airport in Bangkok and we said to meet at the hotel at 8am.. but somehow there's information break-down.. the tour guide and the driver got the info to meet at 9am and not 8am.. so we waited for 1 hr.. of cuz, my mum is not happy about it.. me also loh.. my mum kept asking me to eat faster.. irritating.. ya.. my mum can be quite irritating sometimes.. kept asking questions and kept nagging.. hai.. but had a great time touring around the Grand Palace.. after this tour, we continued to our city tour where she brought us to a place where they make the sapphire, ruby and stuff.. ncie but ex.. then we went to this Thai silk shop.. one of the shop assistants is super irritating.. kept asking me and my sis to buy things.. we complained to the tour guide and she said she going to talk to the manager of that shop about this.. cuz the previous two times when she brought her group there, the same assistant also kept asking them to buy things.. so i guess this shop assistant received alot of complaints already.. haha.. serve him right.. one incident happened.. we nearly cant get our flight back.. haha.. will speak more about this in my later posts.. very interesting and irritating.. one in bangkok airport.. one in spore airport.. but spore airport incident is not so serious.. i just find it a pity.. aiya.. i talk about the spore airport incident thing here lah.. the bangkok one can wait.. the whole story is when we came back from Bangkok and we touched down at Singapore airport.. you know we no need to pay tax if we buy anything inside right.. so my parents wanted to buy red wine.. but cuz we already got 2 bottles at home alr so they didnt buy.. so my dad thought of buying perfumes.. but i dont know why he head to the exit when we found all our luggages.. i tried to stop him but.. hai.. when i catch up to him, we are already outside.. then i told him.. he then realized.. hai.. wasted man.. so sian loh.. and when we queue for taxi, one group cut-queue due to the fault of that uncle.. the uncle is a staff.. he asked that group to queue there when there's already a long queue behind..of cuz this will lead to arguments.. nearly a commotion there loh.. lucky that group quickly move to the back.. if not, alot of people going to shoot them liao.. haha.. other than all these unhappy stuff (which include my mum's nagging), the whole trip is so enjoying, fulfilling and fun.. oh ya.. i didnt buy much things.. no jeans.. sian.. in total, 1 shoe, 3 clothes, few bags, souvenirs for friends and relatives, some tibits and nothing else le.. no jeans leh.. sian.. the jeans there are around the same price in spore.. so my sis think we come back and buy is a better choice.. hai.. so i didnt buy any jeans.. sian.. oh well, i can buy here de.. maybe rebond also.. haha.. gg to spend alot.. anther unpleasant thing happened on our last day.. maybe i will elaborate about it in my later posts.. or else, this post will be super long.. haha.. so stay tuned loh.. nitex.. |

yeah!! soon i will be on my way to bangkok.. hee~~ so excited.. going to be lots of fun.. shopping, shopping and more shopping.. haha.. yeah!! we will be going to the airport at around 3pm.. we plan to have our dinner before we board the plane.. then after we check-in at the hotel, we will proceed to the night market.. hee~~ packed leh.. the next day will be lots of shopping.. the third day is tour at the floating market and cultural show at night.. the last day is another shopping day.. hopefully i can rebond there lah.. but if cannot also nvm.. i can come back to rebond de.. but sure will buy jeans, clothes, bags, shoes and blah blah blah.. haha.. so greedy.. hopefully my luggage won't be 'overweight' ba.. haha.. going to bathe soon le.. so will be blogging again after i return from my bangkok trip.. =) |
